Seamlessly integrating the scientific tools with the experience we have gathered in over a decade of our presence in India helps us in identifying the right talent and presenting the same in a form that is otherwise not possible to a client to make the right choice.

Orientation
The first step in the search process involves extensive discussions with our clients and partners. This is to understand the company, products and service lines, organization structure, employee strength, orientation and most importantly the culture. We also try to learn about the strategy and background of some of the key players. This orientation helps us at Black Turtle to understand your company and facilitate us in being a true representative of your company.
At BT we work closely with you to define jobs and responsibility areas, relevant qualification, skill and proficiency profiles, aptitude and attitude preferences, compensation levels etc. We also attempt to articulate the generic skills (communication, analytical ability, risk taking ability, problem solving ability) and the functional skills that you require in the candidates.

Search Target Plan
Keeping in mind the orientation, our engagement team establishes a search strategy to effectively target desired candidates. We develop a target list of appropriate industries, and/or companies from which to recruit, and identify appropriate levels within those companies that we should target. Once you agree with the target industry/ company list, we utilize our sources, networks and comprehensive databases (exclusive BT DB), to develop an initial candidate list. Additionally, we use the target company list to determine other relevant candidates in the vertical and horizontal grid of these companies.

  Initial List
Based on the people mapping, we draw up an initial list of target candidates. This includes prospective candidates and sources from prior related searches, our databases, and the targeted research & people mapping effort. The most promising of these candidates are presented to you, as a comprehensive target list of people we intend to approach.

Evaluation & Shortlist
Once we have determined a mutual interest in pursuing specific candidates, we will contact them, apprise them briefly of the opportunity and elicit their interest in the position. We then evaluate them with the aim of determining a profile match with the job and understand the suitability and interest of the candidates. Based on the feedback, the consultants engage suitable candidates in an exhaustive discussion to explain both the company and the assignment to them.

Interviews
For the most appropriate candidates; we prepare a detailed docket and evaluation summary, to facilitate the interview process. BT India will arrange interviews between the short listed candidates with your representatives. On receiving feedback, from the candidates and yourself on the meetings, we work with you to draw up the final shortlist. Regular contact and feedback is essential to sustain momentum towards completing the search in a timely manner.

Closure
We elicit the final candidate’s compensation requirements and if you wish, assist you in completing the hiring arrangements. Should you so require, we can conduct detailed references on the final candidate(s) you wish to hire, before the offer is formally extended? Once a candidate has come on board, we keep in touch with new hire to assist in a successful transition into the new role.
